This year we are featuring a wide range of wonderful art glass seconds, from vases, cherries, pumpkins, and of course fish.
This past year was a good year for fish production, which means that this is the best year yet for seconds fish. We are also featuring seconds by Charlene Fort, a wonderful glass artist that is one of the studio artists. Theres always a wide variety of great and unusual blown glass. See you at the sale.

Fused Glass Pendants and Cabochons
with Leyla Melzer
Classes will need a minimum of 4 and a maximum of about 10 students
One Class - $30 class fee and $15 Lab Fee for a 2-hour class
Two Classes - $50 class fee and $25 Lab Fee for two 2-hour classes
Create stunning pendants and cabochon pieces. We want to share the basics of
how to make beautiful pendants and cabochons using the latest technology of
multi-layer fusing.
We will be creating these pieces with the aid of an endless assortment of
beautiful blown glass scraps, a large array of sheet glass pieces, frits and
powders. In this class you will be introduced to the basics of working with glass
and familiarizing yourself with the procedures, techniques, products and endless
possibilities when fusing glass. Plus, you will get to take
home all of your gorgeous custom pieces.
These classes are a great way to have some fun and create beautiful gifts too.

Blow Your Own Ornament
Create your own blown glass ornament with the help of our team of professional
glass blowers. This program starts November 26th, 2011 and is $30.

Glassblowing with Charlene Fort
Class size is limited to 2 students
Beginning Glassblowing
$75 class fee and $10 Lab Fee for a 2-hour class
$150 class fee and $25 Lab Fee for a 4-hour class
These classes are designed for students that have little to no experience in the
hot-shop. A beginner can choose either a 2-hour or a 4-hour class time. These
introductory classes will cover the following fundamentals: Shop etiquette,
safety, gathering, centering, blocking, maruvering and applying color. Students
can expect to make between 2-6 pieces of blown glass art objects, which will
depend on the ability of each person and the speed with which they apply the
knowledge.
Intermediate Glassblowing
$400 class fee and $50 Lab Fee for six 3-hours classes on Saturdays
During this course, the student will be introduced to a solid knowledge of the
basic glassblowing techniques and skills. Some of these skills involve gathering
glass on the pipe to help facilitate making spheres, cylinders, cones and bowls,
shaping hot glass with the help of tools, doing bit
work, shaping a useful punty and knowing different blowing techniques.
Specific classes can be arranged, such as: paperweights, ornaments, pumpkins,
